Freelance Work Aspirations for 2007

Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007

A fresh start to an exciting year, I’m really excited about getting involved with new projects and clients in 2007.

I also have made a list of what I aim to do for the first part of the new year:

  1. Write more articles - for related magazines - creative match, .net, etc.
  2. Keep up with the networking > events, conferences and local meetups.
  3. Increase freelance work in Brighton
  4. Get local deskspace in a office in Brighton (or Hove, actually)
  5. Extracurricular activity: Sailing and jogging Brighton

I like making these lists whatever stage I am in my life, its a good way to set goals and also look back to see how successfull you have been.

The GTD (Getting Things Done) wikipedia resource should be useful further reading to creating a successfull day to day working life.

Its a ruby on rails based web site, and lets you remind friends, and even yourself what you are doing and what you did last night (thank fully theres a remove twitter function).
