SXSW 2008 Dates Announced

SxSW is of course back for 2008, this time, rather than hearing from colleagues about just how good it was.. I am going!
If you are going you can book your hotel, and book your plane ticket now. Return flights from Gatwick to Texas start at the £300 mark.
Here are the dates:
- SXSW Interactive: Friday March 7 – Tuesday March 11
- SXSW Film: Friday March 7 – Saturday March 15
- SXSW Music: Wednesday March 12 – Sunday March 16
New for 2008: SXSW.mobi
SXSW.mobi SXSW has launched a new mobile-specific site. No need to try to navigate SXSW.com from your smartphone when you can now visit SXSW.mobi and get schedules, mp3s, video clips, podcasts, and more.
Plus, SXSW Registrants can now use a mobile device or web-enabled phone to access the Mobile Registrant Directory. Connect with other registrants and sign up for SMS alerts. Check out SXSW.mobi to try out these new features and stay informed about everything happening at SXSW 2007.
Now all we need is to look into the future and predict which participants won’t have Apple iphones to interact with these new channels. As well as Mobile Twitter..
